Hole 6

The second of the par 3s on the front nine, this mid-length hole plays much shorter than the measured distance. With an elevated tee shot to a green guarded by bunkers on both sides, club selection and distance control are crucial.

Shorter hitters may opt to land the ball short and let it run on—often a safer play—but beware: straying too far offline will leave a sandy second shot. For those attacking the pin, choosing the right club is essential, as severe slopes surround the green and can easily feed the ball away.

The green itself has a significant slope from back to front and often confuses first-time players, as putts can appear to break uphill. Take note of the surrounding slopes—they often offer clues on which way the ball will actually roll.
