Hole 13

A short, narrow hole that demands full attention from tee to green. The tee shot plays uphill to a fairway that slopes and doglegs from left to right. Big hitters may be tempted to take on the tall trees guarding the right side in hopes of leaving a short pitch into the green. However, the safer play is up the left side with an iron or fairway wood—this is also the recommended line for shorter hitters.

Be mindful of the mounds and bushes near the greenkeepers’ compound, but note that the natural slope of the fairway can help feed the ball back to the center. The green is well protected by two bunkers: one short left and a tricky pot bunker front right. The smart approach is to aim long and left, avoiding both hazards—again, the natural terrain can help funnel the ball toward the putting surface.

The green itself is long and narrow, sloping from left to right and slightly from back to front. The break will vary significantly depending on the pin position, so be sure to factor that in when reading your putt.
