Hole 16

Both the tee shot and second shot on this hole demand extreme accuracy. From the tee, aim for the middle-left of the fairway, selecting a club that carries far enough to give you an unblocked view of the green. Be careful not to overshoot, or you risk running through the fairway into the trees.

Long hitters may choose to take on the tall trees by going over the corner, leaving a short pitch in. But beware—if this shot doesn’t come off, you could find yourself chipping out from the trees.

The second shot plays uphill, so factoring in the slope is essential when choosing your club. The green is long, narrow, and two-tiered, so pay close attention to the flag position. A large, deep bunker guards the left side, while anything to the right will roll off the mound and slope, leaving a challenging chip.
